Akizakura Chapter III by STREPPS

As leaves swap their bright greens for warm orange, red and browns, Maha Moods is back with another mixtape that captures the transition of seasons. Sit back and relax while the talented deejay Strepps takes you on a ride into the vivid landscape of fall.

- Autumn - Goapele – Closer
I see autumn as an introductory to winter. The weather gets more chilly, and we prepare for cold winter days by wearing multiple layers of clothes. Therefore, to me, this is also the moment to enjoy tunes that warm you up. Closer is the first one that comes to mind because this track captures precisely that transition from summer to autumn. A song to enjoy with a cup of tea in hand.

- Precious memory - NERD – Provider
This track makes me think of my time in high school. Even though it was released way back, me and my friend (shoutout Richie) smashed this song. It was around 2006, when YouTube just started to become popping, so we could watch its video clip as many times as we liked.

- Nostalgic - Michael Jackson – Can’t Help It
Michael, Quincy and Stevie all together on a single track is magic. Any Michael song is nostalgic to me anyways. He the best to ever do it. The chords of this song give you a feeling that feels so recognisable, yet you can't place it. I've been a huge Michael fan ever since I was a young boy, and I even got to experience him live in the Arena back when I was only three years old.

- Heartbreak - Babyface – What If
Mainly because you can scream along with the lyrics of this track. Small tip from my side, never listen to a heartbreak song when you're actually heartbroken. You'll only drown in it further from there, believe me.

- Lovesong - Pete Philly & Perquisite – Mellow Ft. Senna
This track sounds like a relaxed Sunday summer morning with your lover. Especially that moment during the break (around 2:12), when Pete and Senna's voices come together, is top-notch.

- Party - Chaka D & Pliers – Murder She Wrote
The ultimate party tune. I'll buy plane tickets to Bali for anyone who manages to stay still on the side when this song starts playing at a party.

- Guilty pleasure - Dolly Parton - Jolene
Even though you should always listen to whatever you want to listen to, Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' is a classic that I don't play in front of my friends on the daily. The way she makes this country song sound so soulful is out of this world.
