Not sure which size to pick? Here's our general sizing advice per brand, based on what we see and hear in store. Keep in mind sizing can vary between models within the same brand, so we always recommend checking the size guidance on the product page of the item you'd like to purchase too. Still in doubt? Just ask us, we're happy to help.
adidas Originals
True to size, and consistent across our best-sellers: Stan Smith, Gazelle, Campus. Wider feet may prefer a half size up, though it's not always necessary.
ASICS
Runs small. We'd recommend taking a half size up.
Arc'teryx
True to size overall, with a slimmer, technical fit built for layering. Shells and jackets are cut close to the body by design — if you plan to wear a mid-layer underneath, size up; over just a t-shirt or base layer, your usual size is right.
Birkenstock
True to size, but fit depends on width. Narrow fit suits slim to medium feet, Regular fit suits average to wide feet.
Carhartt WIP
True to size, with a relaxed, boxy cut by design — that's the classic workwear silhouette. For a slimmer, more tailored look, size down. For the full oversized effect, stick to true size.
Clarks Originals
True to size, and very consistent across the range.
Converse
Runs roomy. Most people go half a size down, especially for the Chuck 70 and All Star.
Crocs
True to size and roomy by default. For a snugger fit, size half a size down.
Dr. Martens
True to size overall, though it varies by style and leather stiffness. Sandals can run large (size down); boots fit true but feel snug until broken in. Dr. Martens don't always offer half sizes: if you're a half size, go half a size up in men's models, half a size down in women's.
GANNI
True to size overall. Jackets and blazers can run a little large (consider sizing down), while some silky or delicate knits can run small (size up). Dresses with a fitted waist also fit better a size up.
G-STAR
Runs small, especially in slim and tapered fits. We'd recommend sizing up, particularly in denim.
HUMAN MADE
Runs small overall, following Japanese sizing. Size up if you want the brand's classic relaxed, boxy fit.
Jordan
Follows Nike sizing, true to size. Mids & lows generally fit true-to-size, some high-tops can feel snug at first due to the construction.
MM6 Maison Margiela
True to size in general, though cuts can be intentionally oversized or cropped depending on the piece. Check the product page for the intended silhouette.
Needles
Pants come in two size runs: S/M or 1/2. Waist width is similar across both — 1/2 has a shorter leg length, S/M runs longer. Prefer a cropped length? Go for S or M. Want more length? Go for size 1 or 2.
New Balance
True to size and highly consistent across models.
Nike Sportswear
True to size overall. Air Max can run narrow or snug (size up); Air Force 1 fits true to size or slightly roomy.
Salomon
True to size, with a snug performance fit — especially on trail models.
Snow Peak
True to size, with a relaxed, Japanese-influenced cut that leaves room for layering. If you want a closer fit and won't be layering, sizing down is an option.
Stüssy
True to size, with a relaxed, boxy fit built in — that's the classic Stüssy silhouette. Size down for a more fitted look, or size up for the full oversized effect.
UGG
True to size, though the thick lining can feel snug at first. For tall socks or wide feet, go half a size up.
Vans OTW
True to size. The Old Skool can feel narrow, so half a size up helps for wider feet.
Y-3
Follows adidas sizing and can run small. Given the slim, avant-garde cuts, wider feet may prefer a half size up.
YUME YUME
True to size.
