As rays of sunshine start to stream more frequently through our windows, days are slowly getting longer again. While awaiting a spring season filled with clear blue skies and sunbeams lighting up our faces, we bring you another Ume Mixtape. Chapter number four.

Our very own ESSI has curated a winter-inspired playlist that bridges the time between the last days of winter and the first days of spring. Ever since "The Return of East Atlanta Santa" came out, I've been obsessed with listening to this song during the wintertime.

- Precious Memory - Gunna - Speed It Up
This album came out in 2019 when a couple of friends and I lived in different apartments within the same building. We used to hang out often and always have this song on repeat. It also reminds me of a beat one of my close friends made who unfortunately passed away.

- Nostalgic - Nicki Minaj - Moment 4 Life
This song takes me back to high school. It reminds me of a pink mini Lamborghini me and my best friend made in art class together. We still listen to this song and laugh about it!

- Heartbreak - Sahbabii ft. Joji - Gates To The Sun
I guess this one doesn't need an explanation, but it's on repeat whenever a street rat is acting up.

- Love Song - Jhene Aiko ft. Childish Gambino - Bed Peace
This song describes it all, both its melody and lyrics. It's just so peaceful.

- Party - Shenseea - Shen Yeng Anthem
When I heard this song for the first time, I immediately played it on repeat. My Spotify Wrapped said I listened to this song over 600 times in 2022, haha. I had a blast seeing her perform once. I absolutely love Shenseea.
